Description Thomastik Dominant double bass strings are made by Thomastik-Infeld in Austria with a highly flexible, multi-strand synthetic core and are chrome wound. They provide the tonal warmth and the feel of a gut string whilst not being affected by changes in humidity. The Dominant bass strings have a sound that is soft and clear with very stable intonation, they are also rich in overtones.
